It's a special Hungarian cake, handmade by the lovely owners of Bodri's Cafe. Make sure you order it the day before - you won't be disappointed!
Will return regularly, can't wait to try the Kürtőskalács - Chimney Cake! - Boti Nagy Added October 14, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ☆It's definitely a taste of Hungary. I had the savoury langos and it was terrific. It's not the langos my mum used to make or what you can enjoy at the Hungarian Club in Norwood but it was very much a pleasant surprise. The cheese scone was less thrilling but overall definitely worth your time and investment.

A handmade puff pastry filled with the famous Hungarian sweet chestnut puree (gesztenye püré)
Wow, delicious pastry, I really love the smooth chestnut filling which is just sweet enough without being over the top.
Sweet ricotta and cherry pocket.
Ricotta in desserts is such an excellent ingredient. Adding an element of creaminess, cheesiness and balanced with slightly tart cherries is an excellent combination. Delicious. Not a huge range of cakes, (which is a good thing), BUT what they do have is exceptionally scrumptious. The quality of the pastries/cakes is very high. The service & staff is good too.
