- Belinda Bridgman Added May 28, 2024★ ★ ★ ★ ★I was referred to Mr James Sweeney when all other options to manage my condition of ulcerative colitis, including a number of blood transfusions had failed. His solution of performing a J-loop colectomy was life changing. After the initial surgery I had a colostomy bag for a few months and then th J-loop was performed. I had a couple of minor complications of adhesions but these were managed well. Mr Sweeney's overall management was second to none and I could not have asked for a better surgeon. If he is still practicing, I highly recommend him.
