  Was in the queue to enter. Denied entrance referring to the shoes. The shoes were loafers as per Skechers, but sports shoe as per Rocket staff. Went to a much more professional bar and spent $150

  used to absolutely love this club on a saturday night, but had a horrible experience a few weeks ago. the staff members lost our belongings - that we had been told to leave with them - and then offered no sympathy or compensation. instead, we were treated with hostility despite us attempting to be understanding of the situation. we then attempted to contact the club directly, to ultimately receive no reply. really disappointed

  I really enjoy the new look. In not sure how new it is because I haven't been here in years, but really cool vibe down stairs. Wishing I could have gotten upstairs, but was a long wait. I really appreciate the Text when can enter though. Nice touch

  Entry price of $20 is excessive when the place is a ghost town and the bartender is hopeless is making a simple margarita.
  Would not recommend for the price paid for any of this. Had high hopes and was left sadly disappointed

  Rude/careless staff who seem to lack basic conversational skills when it comes to defusing simple situations as well as not understanding their own rules. And this is just in the line. Once you're in the place, don't expect any help if anything goes wrong. Revenue is the only focus with a complete disregard for safety or just common decency when interacting with patrons. Plenty of other great clubs on Hindley Street, give this one a miss.

  Ambient and rooftop is great but as far as night out places go, Rocket hasn't change all that much over the years. The line situation isn't great as there is only one entrance/exit down a narrow door and stairs, also the front door isn't that organised, you see people cutting in lines because the wait is longer than expected for the size of the line, and the front door doesn't prioritise reentry like the other popular places on Hindley St.

  Good place to visit at night, great atmosphere, can get very busy @ certain peak times (which is what you want) but could do with some extra cooling on those warm summer nights.
