  Hmm I would give the a zero rating but that's not possible!! So so so so so so so so so so so so so so many mistakes and I was blamed for ALL of them. I am NOT ticking any of the services boxes because service is NOT what I got with them. Plans had mistakes and I was able to pick up some of these but missed some which Simonds then continues to say "you signed the contract" Extraordinarily arrogant, don't return calls, don't answer emails and need to get in this century where FEMALES can actually build houses without MEN.
  I wanted an Australian small company-never never again. In fact I will never build again EVER! This is how incredibly stressful this whole situation Simonds have made it! They just keep treating you like you are an endless money pit!

  If we could leave 0 stars we would. We started talking to the consultant in December, signed in January and it was all downhill from there! Poor communication, lots of mistakes (check everything), incorrect information and the list goes on! It was so bad we decided to not proceed, 7 months & $2,500 down the drain. Save yourself the time and money and look elsewhere.

  I’ve been a bricklayer for 50 years building houses. I am so impressed with Simonds , they are fast and organised ,there supervisor is patient and helpful. The quality is excellent. We’re about halfway, can’t wait to move in .Well run building company.Thanks to Gabe & Ann Hughes.

  We started the process in November, it’s June and we still haven’t seen a final contract. Very inflexible, rude, slow to respond if at all. Look elsewhere, very very bad

  Simonds are building a house in our street. A few weeks ago we were woken up by a concreting mob, who rolled up at around 6:15 a.m. to start laying the slab. They were finished around half two, and it wasn't even a hot day. Yesterday afternoon, some cowboy contractor broke the water mains on the property, but didn't bother to report it to S.A. Water for about 40 minutes, (I phoned them immediately) until he'd finished the job. I phoned Simonds this morning to ask them to clean up the footpath and gutter which are covered in mud. I'll give them another star if they do.
